Tecno is all set to add a new smartphone to its portfolio in India and the company is calling it the Camon 16. Tecno has now revealed the launch date of the smartphone by listing it on Indian e-commerce site Flipkart. The company has added a dedicated microsite on the website suggesting that the Tecno Camon 16 will make its way to the Indian market on October 10th. Here’s a closer look at the launch date, time, and features of the handset.

According to the Flipkart listing, the company is all set to launch the Camon 16 on October 10th at 12 PM and it’s pretty clear that the smartphone is going to be exclusively up for grabs via Flipkart.

The microsite also showcased a section where users can guess the price of the handset. Besides, the listing also confirmed that the Tecno Camon 16 will feature a 64-megapixel primary shooter at the back. Upfront, the smartphone seems to have a punch-hole camera cutout design, which accommodates a 16-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calls. At the back, it sports a quad-camera setup along with an LED Flash.
In the Flipkart listing, the company also tried focusing more on the camera feature of the phone. The listing claims that the Camon 16 will offer an eye-definition feature that focuses on the human eye and measures eye movements. The microsite also suggests that the phone will feature an HD display.
Tecno is yet to reveal any information about the processor of the upcoming smartphone, but considering the previous the launch of the Tecno 16 Premier we can safely assume that the smartphone might be powered by a MediaTek Helio processor.
