Sony PlayStation 5 India launch has disappointed a lot of potential buyers. Many users claimed that their pre-orders were cancelled or delayed for no specific reason. When the next-gen gaming console goes live in the country the stock vanishes within a fraction of seconds. After a long wait, the PS5 stocks were once again back in the country on the Amazon India portal, but sadly it depleted within 9 minutes.
The company restocked the PS5 on the Amazon India site last night, probably that time we must be sleeping, but even at those late-night hours, the gaming enthusiasts out stocked the console.
If you visit the Amazon India PS5 product page you will be unable to purchase the gaming console now. Currently, the device is out of stock and the website also doesn’t know when the item is going to restock. Just to recall, the PlayStation 5 was launched in India at Rs 49,990, but it seems that even if you have the money you won’t be able to purchase the console because the company is not ready to make the device available online or offline retail stores.
If you want to buy one then signup for notifications on Amazon India and always keep an eye on the website. You never know when the company will restock the console and you may get the chance to grab one. According to PS5Ind, Sony imported around 4000 units of PS5 in India at the launch, which is not going to meet the demand of the Indian gaming enthusiasts.
Previously it was also reported that Sony Centres across the country were taking cash from the buyer, informing them that the PS5 India restock is going to happen soon. However, they didn’t have any exact date and there are also chances of a potential delay. It was reported that the company is planning to restock Chroma on priority and ensure e-commerce platforms get a restock, but nothing seems to happen in favour of consumers. Let’s see when the next stock is going to arrive in the country.

Vivo has finally announced a new smartphone in its popular V-series. The company has introduced Vivo V21 5G smartphone in India with a starting price of Rs 29,990. The smartphone comes loaded with a host of interesting features like a 44MP selfie camera with OIS support, MediaTek Dimensity chipset, fast charging, and more. But, does make it sense to upgrade if you have a Vivo V20 Pro or Vivo V20? In this article, we are going to tell you about the difference between each model and whether you should upgrade to the new Vivo V21 5G or not. So, let’s begin.
The Vivo V21 5G India price starts at Rs 29,990 for the 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option is priced at Rs 32,990. The Vivo V20 Pro 5G comes with a price tag of Rs 29,990. Lastly, the Vivo V20 India price is Rs 24,990. All three smartphones are available for purchase from both online and offline stores across the country.
Coming to the design, all three smartphones offer an identical design language. All three of them come with a rectangular camera module at the rear along with a waterdrop notch at the front. Whether it be the button placement or even the gradient finish, the Vivo V21, V20 5G and V20 Pro look quite similar to each other.
Once again, all three smartphones are loaded with the same display. The Vivo V20, V21 5G and V20 Pro 5G phones pack a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixel. The only difference between the newly-launched V21 5G and V20 series is that the former comes with a 90Hz screen refresh rate, while the latter comes with a standard 60Hz refresh rate.
The major difference between the three smartphones is in terms of performance. The Vivo V21 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor that is clocked at 2.4GHz. The handset features 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
The Vivo V20 Pro 5G comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 5G processor that is clocked at 2.4GHz. The handset offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Lastly, the Vivo V20 features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor that comes with a 2.2GHz clock speed. That said, both the Vivo V21 and V20 Pro are loaded with a 5G chipset and both of them will deliver good performance in almost every department.
In terms of cameras, the Vivo V21 5G is loaded with a triple-camera setup with a combination of 64MP primary lens with f/1.79 aperture and OIS support, 8MP ultra-wide lens with 119-degree FoV and portrait option along with 2MP macro lens. On the front, the handset comes with a 44MP shooter with OIS and a 4K video recording option.
The Vivo V20 Pro 5G and V20 come with a triple-camera setup with a combination of 64MP primary lens with f/1.89 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide sensor that doubles as a macro lens, and 2Mp mono sensor. On the front, the V20 Pro features a dual selfie camera with a 44MP primary lens with f/2.0 aperture and 8MP ultra-wide sensor. The Vivo V20 is loaded with a single 44MP shooter.
The major difference is in the front cameras. The Vivo V21 5G offers you Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support for the selfie and rear cameras. However, the V20 Pro and V20 come with Eye Autofocus technology. Both the technologies are a bit different. The former will reduce the shake, while the latter helps you to lock focus on the subject eye so that you get clear shots even while recording videos. That said, we still believe that going with V20 Pro is a better option as you are getting a better package for the selfie cameras.
In terms of battery, all three smartphones are loaded with a 4,000mAh battery. Furthermore, all of them come with 33W fast charging support.
To conclude, all three smartphones come with a similar set of features and almost similar specifications. The design is identical in all three smartphones and you will not be able to make out any difference, except for V20 Pro, which has dual selfie cameras. The phones offer you the same display, though V21 5G comes with a 90Hz screen refresh rate. However, the major difference here is between the performance and camera technologies. If you have a Vivo V20 Pro 5G, then we suggest sticking with this only as it still offers better features and camera specs as compared to the newly-launched Vivo V21 5G.

The company unveiled the Mi 11 Ultra's European eye watering €1,199 pricing at an event in late March, but it stayed mum on a release date for the continent. Now thanks to Xiaomi's official Dutch Facebook page, we know that the Mi 11 Ultra is expected to finally become available on May 11. Get it? May 11. This is at least true for the Dutch market, and even if the other...

Xiaomi’s brand Redmi has launched its own understanding of what a gaming smartphone should be under the name K40 Gaming. The device runs on Dimensity 1200 chipset and comes with the latest bells and whistles like UFS 3.1 storage, LPDDR5 RAM, 67W ultra-fast charging and several solutions for cooling and heat dissipation. With such specs, it is no wonder that the Redmi K40 Gaming was a huge success during its first flash sale in China. According to the brand, the device sold 100,000 units in just one minute. GTA 6 has been much in rumours, and given exactly how popular GTA 5 has been and continues to be eight years since launch, that’s hardly a surprise. Now, after months of cyber sleuths looking for slight cues about the game and its potential launch, developer Rockstar Games appears to have dropped the biggest clue about it. Spotted by The National, the clue comes from job listings that Rockstar has posted across a number of its studios, namely Edinburgh, India and Lincoln, for game testers to work in an upcoming project. Given that game developer studios typically hire testers in the final stages of launch of upcoming games, the information does come across as a possibility that GTA 6 might actually be close to launching this time.
The job postings themselves somewhat differ across the three regions that are seemingly looking for game testers. At Rockstar Edinburgh, eligible candidates are necessitated to have an understanding and interest of the present gaming industry, as well as knowledge of the present crop of games, consoles and PCs. While this pretty much hints at the need for testers for new titles, the job listing for Rockstar India is slightly different. At the latter, the studio is looking for those who have a knowledge and understanding of previous Rockstar titles, which suggests that this may be linked to a different project – speculations suggesting the next-gen port of GTA 5 that’s slated to launch later this year, or a standalone GTA Online title as well.
However, given the increasing number of clues surfacing each day, the launch of GTA 6 surely seems to be on the radar. Clues have so far suggested that Rockstar will base the upcoming GTA 6 in some way to Vice City – the fictional take on Miami that featured in the iconic first ever Grand Theft Auto title. Some reports have suggested that GTA 6 will combine multiple previous maps into a sprawling playground and involve multiple crime cartels as well. All of these are, of course, speculative, but it will be interesting to see if Rockstar ends up introducing an all new playground for the game that pioneered open world storytelling.
Even if the game tester listings do allude to GTA 6, it will still be at least some time until GTA 6 is actually launched. Rockstar is yet to start promotional events for the game, and all of this seemingly adds up to a potential launch at end-2021, at the earliest. The upcoming few weeks should hold more answers to what the game will come with.

Xiaomi recently unveiled the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition in China. It is the company’s first gaming smartphone. The smartphone is tipped to launch in India as the POCO F3 GT. Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing, at the launch, highlighted several benefits of the K40 Game Enhanced over other popular gaming smartphones. The GM has now shared more details on why Redmi entered the gaming smartphone category. Weibing states that Redmi launched the gaming smartphone to popularise the category. The current set of gaming smartphones are not popular because they are expensive, he said. Let’s take a look at what Weibing said on Redmi’s entry in the gaming smartphone category.
Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition in China. The company is making a big claim days after the launch.
Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing said that the company chose to enter the gaming smartphone category to popularise it. He further stated that gaming phones are not popular because they are expensive. “Today, the cost of a processor alone is $10 and the memory or screen is even worse. There is also the marketing cost. When we add these costs together, it will be very difficult to have cheap gaming smartphones. This way, the popularisation of gaming smartphones becomes very difficult,” Weibing said.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition at a starting price of CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs 23,000). This is nearly half the price of other popular smartphones like the Asus ROG Phone 5, Nubia Red Magic 6, etc.
In addition to the price, Weibing further stated that the overall form factor and weight are other reasons for users to avoid gaming phones. The K40 Game Enhanced Edition is only 8.3mm thick and weighs 205 grams. It is lighter and thinner than many gaming phones in the market.
Xiaomi aims to sell over 1.7 million units of the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition. The company claims that it sold over 1 lakh units in a minute during the first sale in China.

Vivo has finally announced the launch of its new 5G smartphone in India with its Vivo V21 5G. The smartphone adds to the long list of 5G smartphones that are currently available in India. However, the company has tried to stand out from the crowd by offering some segment-first features. The phone comes with a 44MP selfie shooter which is equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support.
This coupled with other interesting specs including MediaTek Dimensity chipset, AMOLED display, 64MP triple rear cameras, and more makes it an interesting option under Rs 35,000 segment. However, this particular segment is highly competitive in nature. We have some great smartphones in this segment including the Xiaomi Mi 11x and iQOO 7. So, the question here is: Can the Vivo V21 5G be able to beat the Mi 11x and iQOO 7? Let’s find out in this comparison.
The Vivo V21 5G India price starts at Rs 29,990 for the 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option is priced at Rs 32,990. The Xiaomi Mi 11x is priced at Rs 29,999 for 6GB RAM + 128GB of storage option. The 8GB RAM + 128GB model comes with a price tag of Rs 31,999.
Lastly, the iQOO 7 price in India starts at Rs 31,990 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. It also comes in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants. The two storage options are priced at Rs 33,990 and Rs 35,990. That said, the Xiaomi Mi 11x seems to be the best value-for-money model among both the devices as you get the latest Snapdragon 870 chipset along with some other interesting features.
Winner: Xiaomi Mi 11x
In terms of design, the Vivo V21 5G looks eerily similar to the Vivo V20 smartphone. You get the same camera position at the rear and at the front, and almost similar gradient finish, and some specifications. The Vivo V21 5G is available in Arctic White, Sunset Dazzle and Dusk Blue colour options. The Xiaomi Mi 11x comes with a sleek design and looks premium from every angle. The smartphone is offered in Celestial Silver and Lunar White with a frost back panel and there is a Cosmic Black colour also available with a shiny back panel.
Coming to iQOO 7, it is also a bit similar to the iQOO 3 smartphone. The handset comes with a rectangular shape rear camera module and a centre-aligned punch-hole camera at the front. That said, all three smartphones give a premium design and it’s all about personal preferences, so we are going to call this round a tie.
Winner: Tie
Coming to the display department, the Vivo V21 5G packs a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2404 x 1080 pixels. The screen offers HDR10+ support, up to 800nits brightness, and comes with a 90Hz screen refresh rate.
The iQOO 7 is loaded with a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The device offers a 120Hz screen refresh rate along with up to 1,300nits brightness and supports HDR10+. The Xiaomi Mi 11x comes loaded with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The phone offers a 120Hz screen refresh rate along with HDR10+ support with MEMC and up to 1,300nits brightness. All three devices come with an AMOLED screen, though it is iQOO 7 and Xiaomi Mi 11x that offers a higher 120Hz screen refresh rate and better peak brightness than Vivo V21 5G. However, you get a slightly bigger display on the Xiaomi Mi 11x and that’s why it wins this round with a margin.
Winner: Xiaomi Mi 11x
The Vivo V21 5G is powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor that is clocked at 2.4GHz. The phone comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It also runs on Android 11 with FunTouch OS 11.1 on top of it.
The Xiaomi Mi 11x and iQOO 7 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G chipset that is clocked at 3.2GHz. The Mi 11x packs up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, while the iQOO 7 comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage option. That said, the iQOO 7 is probably one of the better options as you are getting better RAM options under the Rs 36,000 budget. The Xiaomi Mi 11x is currently the cheapest Snapdragon 870-powered smartphone in India at Rs 29,999. Hence, the Mi 11x wins this round as it offers a better value-for-money proposition.
Winner: Xiaomi Mi 11x
In terms of cameras, the Xiaomi Mi 11x packs a triple-camera setup with a combination of 48MP primary lens with f/1.79 aperture, 8MP wide-angle lens with 119-degree FoV, and 5MP tele-macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calling.
The iQOO 7 also packs a triple-camera setup with a combination of 48MP primary lens with f/1.79 aperture, 13MP ultra-wide lens with 120-degree FoV, and 2MP mono sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, you get a 16MP shooter for selfies.
Lastly, the Vivo V21 5G packs triple rear cameras. The phone comes with a combination of 64MP primary lens with f/1.79 aperture and OIS support, 8MP ultra-wide lens with 119-degree FoV and portrait option along with 2MP macro lens. On the front, the handset comes with a 44MP shooter with OIS and a 4K video recording option. The major highlight of the Vivo V21 5G is the 44MP selfie camera with OIS support, which is a segment-first feature. Furthermore, the phone tends to offer better specs on paper when it comes to rear cameras as well. So, this round goes to Vivo V21 5G.
Winner: Vivo V21 5G
Coming to battery performance, all three phones pack ultra-fast charging support. The Vivo V21 5G offers a 4,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The Xiaomi Mi 11x comes loaded with a 4,520 mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The iQOO 7 is juiced up by a 4,400mAh battery with a whopping 66W fast charging support. The winner is quite clear here, isn’t it?
Winner: iQOO 7
All three smartphones come with some premium design language and offer some interesting features. The Vivo V21 5G brings some segment-first features with a combination of 44MP selfie camera with OIS support. The handset also offers some good display and charging speeds. The iQOO 7 is probably one of the best options you can get in this segment. The company has rightly added all the ingredients that make a tough smartphone to beat.
Whether it be the Snapdragon 870 chipset or 66W fast charging support, the iQOO 7 gives you everything you need in this budget. However, it is the Mi 11x that offers the most value-for-money proposition. The smartphone is the cheapest smartphone in India that comes with the latest Snapdragon 870 processor. This coupled with a higher refresh rate and interesting camera configurations makes it a good option to consider.
