But, does make it sense to upgrade if you have a Vivo V20 Pro or Vivo V20? In this article, we are going to tell you about the difference between each model and whether you should upgrade to the new Vivo V21 5G or not. So, let’s begin.
Vivo V21 5G vs Vivo V20 vs Vivo V20 Pro 5G: Price in India
The Vivo V21 5G India price starts at Rs 29,990 for the 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option is priced at Rs 32,990. The Vivo V20 Pro 5G comes with a price tag of Rs 29,990. Lastly, the Vivo V20 India price is Rs 24,990. All three smartphones are available for purchase from both online and offline stores across the country.
Vivo V21 5G vs Vivo V20 vs Vivo V20 Pro 5G: Design
Coming to the design, all three smartphones offer an identical design language. All three of them come with a rectangular camera module at the rear along with a waterdrop notch at the front. Whether it be the button placement or even the gradient finish, the Vivo V21, V20 5G and V20 Pro look quite similar to each other.
Vivo V21 5G vs Vivo V20 vs Vivo V20 Pro 5G: Display
Once again, all three smartphones are loaded with the same display. The Vivo V20, V21 5G and V20 Pro 5G phones pack a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixel. The only difference between the newly-launched V21 5G and V20 series is that the former comes with a 90Hz screen refresh rate, while the latter comes with a standard 60Hz refresh rate.
Vivo V21 5G vs Vivo V20 vs Vivo V20 Pro 5G: Performance
The major difference between the three smartphones is in terms of performance. The Vivo V21 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor that is clocked at 2.4GHz. The handset features 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
The Vivo V20 Pro 5G comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 5G processor that is clocked at 2.4GHz. The handset offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Lastly, the Vivo V20 features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor that comes with a 2.2GHz clock speed. That said, both the Vivo V21 and V20 Pro are loaded with a 5G chipset and both of them will deliver good performance in almost every department.
Vivo V21 5G vs Vivo V20 vs Vivo V20 Pro 5G: Cameras
In terms of cameras, the Vivo V21 5G is loaded with a triple-camera setup with a combination of 64MP primary lens with f/1.79 aperture and OIS support, 8MP ultra-wide lens with 119-degree FoV and portrait option along with 2MP macro lens. On the front, the handset comes with a 44MP shooter with OIS and a 4K video recording option.
The Vivo V20 Pro 5G and V20 come with a triple-camera setup with a combination of 64MP primary lens with f/1.89 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide sensor that doubles as a macro lens, and 2Mp mono sensor. The major difference is in the front cameras. The Vivo V21 5G offers you Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support for the selfie and rear cameras. However, the V20 Pro and V20 come with Eye Autofocus technology. Both the technologies are a bit different. The former will reduce the shake, while the latter helps you to lock focus on the subject eye so that you get clear shots even while recording videos. That said, we still believe that going with V20 Pro is a better option as you are getting a better package for the selfie cameras.
Vivo V21 5G vs Vivo V20 vs Vivo V20 Pro 5G: Battery
In terms of battery, all three smartphones are loaded with a 4,000mAh battery. Furthermore, all of them come with 33W fast charging support.
Vivo V21 5G vs Vivo V20 vs Vivo V20 Pro 5G: Which One to Buy?
To conclude, all three smartphones come with a similar set of features and almost similar specifications. The design is identical in all three smartphones and you will not be able to make out any difference, except for V20 Pro, which has dual selfie cameras. The phones offer you the same display, though V21 5G comes with a 90Hz screen refresh rate. However, the major difference here is between the performance and camera technologies. If you have a Vivo V20 Pro 5G, then we suggest sticking with this only as it still offers better features and camera specs as compared to the newly-launched Vivo V21 5G.
