iQOO has launched the iQOO 7 series in India. The two smartphones under the series, namely the iQOO 7 and the Legend edition were launched earlier this year in China. The vanilla model is nothing but a rebranded iQOO Neo 5. Both smartphones come with a triple-camera setup on the back. The devices also feature a Snapdragon 800-series flagship processor. On the front is a 6.62-inch Full HD+ display. The screen comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate support. The devices also come with 662 fast charging support. iQOO 7 series price in India
The iQOO 7 Legend price in India is set at Rs 39,990 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. There is also a 12GB + 256GB storage option priced at Rs 43,990. It comes in a single White colour variant that has three coloured stripes in Red, Black, and Blue. ICICI Bank Credit and Debit card customers can avail of an instant Rs 3,000 discount on the purchase of the device.
The vanilla model is priced at Rs 31,990 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. It also comes in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants. The two storage options are priced at Rs 33,990 and Rs 35,990. It comes in Storm Black and Solid Ice Blue colours. ICICI Bank Credit and Debit card customers can avail of an instant Rs 2,000 discount on the purchase of the device. The two phones will be available for pre-orders starting May 1 via Amazon and iQOO.com.
iQOO 7 series specifications
The two models feature a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The screen has a 120Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. It has a centrally-aligned hole-punch cutout for the front camera.
On the back is a triple-camera setup. Both devices share the same 48MP Sony IMX598 primary camera sensor. They also come with a 13MP ultrawide sensor that doubles up as a macro lens. The Legend edition has a 13MP portrait camera, whereas the vanilla model has a 2MP mono camera.
For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera sensor.
Under the hood, the vanilla model comes with a Snapdragon 870 SoC. The top-end model features a Snapdragon 888 SoC. The devices also come with an Extended RAM feature, which uses the phone’s 3GB internal memory as virtual RAM.
The vanilla model has a 4,400 mAh battery, whereas the Legend edition has a 4000 mAh battery. Both devices come with 66W fast charging support.
The two phones run Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11.1 out of the box.
