Indian consumer technology brand Mivi has announced its new earphone – the Mivi Collar Classic. These new earphones are manufactured in India. Mivi mentions that it is taking the Made in India initiative forward with the Mivi Collar Classic, as the company in the past had unveiled the Made in India Bluetooth Speaker and Mivi Collar 2 earphones. The newly unveiled Mivi Collar Classic earphone comes with a MEMS mic, Bluetooth 5.0, and offers playback of 10 hours with just 10 minutes of charge. The Mivi Collar Classic is priced at around Rs 999. The company has mentioned that this new product is available on Flipkart at a special introductory price for a limited time. These earphones come in almost six colour option that includes – Black, Blue, Green, Gray, Orange, and Red.

The Mivi Collar Classic is equipped with a MEMS mic for the best calling experience. Connectivity-wise, the earphone has Bluetooth 5.0 support. It features an in-line 3-button to control music and calls. With these buttons you can conveniently play, pause, accept or reject calls without having to reach for your phone. The Collar Classic’s built-in microphone activates voice assistants such as Google Assistant or Siri just by pressing a button.

Mivi claims that these earphones are manufactured using high-quality material. The company also mentions that the Collar Classic offers 24 hours playback time. These earphones also offer a playtime of 10 hours with just 10 minutes of charge. The Collar Classic earphones come with three pairs of interchangeable earbuds. When not in use, the magnetic earbuds can stick together and hang around the neck. As per the Flipkart product listing, the Mivi Collar Classic has an IPX5 sweat and dust resistance protection. The newly launched Collar Classic will compete with the Redmi SonicBass wireless earphones, which are priced at around Rs 1299. The Redmi SonicBass offers 12 hours of playback time and even offers Bluetooth 5.0 support.

If we go by the company’s past launches, Mivi had launched the Made in India Mivi Collar 2 wireless earphones back in January. The Mivi Collar 2 is priced at around Rs.1399. The Mivi Collar 2 is also equipped with a MEMS mic and has Bluetooth 5.0 support. Similar to the Mivi Collar Classic, the Collar 2 also offers 10hrs of playtime with 10 minutes of charge gives, and playtime of 17hrs with a full charge of 40 minutes.
