Nubia is prepping up for the launch of yet another RedMagic 6 series smartphone. The evidence of the new Nubia handset was spotted recently courtesy of TENAA certification. The Nubia NX666J smartphone had gained the prior TENAA certification recently. The listing had revealed the specifications of renders of this handset ahead of launch. As of now, we were not aware of the official marketing name of this device. Well, in a recent development, the Nubia NX666J has gained the Bluetooth SIG certification which reveals its marketing name. Nubia RedMagic 6R Might Be Launching Soon
The Nubia smartphone spotted on Bluetooth SIG certification carries model number as NX666J. This is the same model which had recently gained the TENAA certification. The Bluetooth SIG listing has listed this handset with the moniker as – Nubia RedMagic 6 Racing, and Tencent RedMagic Gaming Phone 6R. The listing shows us this handset will have Bluetooth 5.2 support. The other specifications of this device are already known to us thanks to the prior TENAA certification listing.
The Nubia RedMagic 6R (NX666J) will feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with 2400 × 1800 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the device will be powered by an octa-core 2.8GHz chipset. The handset will be available in the 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM option along with 128GB/256GB and 512GB internal storage. It will run Android 11 out of the box. In terms of optics, the smartphone will sport a quad-camera setup. The device is expected to feature a 64-megapixel primary main camera.
For selfies and video-calling, the phone might be equipped with a 16-megapixel camera. As per TENAA certification, this handset will measure at around 163.04mm×75.34mm×8.2mm and it might weigh 186 grams. The whole package might be fueled by a 4100mAh battery. The device is tipped to come in a Black colour option. Connectivity-wise, the phone will offer 5G support.
The Nubia NX666J had even gained the prior Wi-Fi Alliance certification recently. As of now, the phone’s launch date remains to be a mystery at the moment.
