Lenovo has announced its first smartphone with the Think branding – the Lenovo ThinkPhone. The Lenovo ThinkPhone by Motorola is a business-grade smartphone that comes with Moto KeySafe which adds an additional layer of security in order to protect sensitive user data. The ThinkPhone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and up to 12GB of RAM. The smartphone offers a 50MP camera setup and a 5000mAh battery.

Other highlights of the ThinkPhone include a 144Hz OLED display, up to 512GB storage, 68W fast charging, and 15W wireless charging. Lenovo is also introducing a new Think2Think connectivity feature that provides seamless integration between ThinkPhone and ThinkPad laptops. Think2Think integration allows users to sync notifications, photos, documents, and copied text between ThinkPad and ThinkPhone.

ThinkPad users can also use the ThinkPhone as a webcam for video calls through laptops. Users also have the option to run the Android app, installed on their ThinkPhone, on their ThinkPad’s screen. Lenovo is yet to announce the pricing of the Lenovo ThinkPhone. The smartphone will be available for purchase in the US, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Australia, and select countries across Asia in the coming months.

The ThinkPhone by Motorola flaunts a 6.6-inch pOLED display with a Full HD+ (2400 × 1080 pixel) resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. The display panel accommodates the front shooter inside a centered punch hole notch and features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus layer.

The ThinkPhone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor that is manufactured on TSMC’s 4nm process. The graphics duties on the device are taken care of by an integrated Adreno 730 GPU. It comes paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS3.1 storage. The ThinkPhone boots Android 13 out of the box.

On the optics front, the ThinkPhone offers a triple-rear camera that includes a 50MP primary shooter with phase detection autofocus and optical image stabilisation. It gets accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens that has a 120° field of view and also doubles as a macro sensor. Lenovo has also equipped the device with a depth sensor. The smartphone relies on a 32MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.

The ThinkPhone is backed by a 5000mAh battery unit and 68W fast charging support. It features a USB 3.1 Type-C port for charging port and data transfers. The handset also supports wireless charging up to 15W. The device is also equipped with a stereo speaker setup and Dolby Atmos audio support.

The Lenovo ThinkPhone comes in a single colour option – Carbon Black. It weighs 188.5 grams and measures 158.76 × 74.38 × 8.26mm. Connectivity features of the device include Dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 6E 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, Glonass, and Galileo.

The ThinkPhone by Motorola is IP68 rated which makes it dust and water-resistant. It also features the MIL-STD 810H rating and can survive drops from up to 1.25 meters. The smartphone features a customizable key with a red accent colour along the left edge which lets users access the most critical business and field apps with a click.
