Oppo, back in 2021, launched the Oppo A56 smartphone in the Chinese market. Now, the brand has launched its refreshed version – the Oppo A56s in its domestic market. The latest A-series smartphone is a mid-range smartphone and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor. Oppo A56s sports a 90Hz refresh rate but it offers just an HD+ resolution.
Other highlights of the smartphone include a 5000mAh battery, a 13MP camera, an 8MP front camera, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Let us take a closer look at the Oppo A56s price, specifications, and features.
Oppo A56s: Price and Availability
The Oppo A56s is priced at RMB 1099 (approx Rs 13,330) for the 8GB + 128GB configuration. There is also an 8GB + 256GB variant of the smartphone which costs RMB 1299 (approx Rs 15,750). The Oppo A56s is now available for purchase in China. The brand is yet to reveal the global availability of the Oppo A56s.

Oppo A56s: Specifications and Features
The all-new Oppo A56s flaunts a 6.56-inch LCD display panel with an HD+ (1612 × 720 pixel) resolution, 269ppi pixel density, and 90Hz refresh rate. The display panel supports 600nits peak brightness, a 96% NTSC colour gamut, and makes room for the selfie shooter inside a waterdrop notch.
Under the hood, the latest A-series smartphone sports an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor that is fabbed on a 6nm manufacturing process. The graphics duties on the handset are taken care of by an integrated Mali G57 GPU. It comes paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The smartphone comes pre-loaded with ColorOS, based on Android 12.
The all-new Oppo A56s comes equipped with a dual-rear camera setup that includes a 13MP primary shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. Accompanying it are a portrait lens and a dual-LED flash. The smartphone relies on an 8MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.
The latest A-series smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery unit and 10W charging support. It has a USB 2.0 Type-C port for charging and data transfers. The smartphone offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which also doubles as the power button. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack. The handset also features a micro-SD card slot.
The Oppo A56s comes in two colour options – Blue and Black. It measures 163.8 × 75.1 × 7.99mm and weighs 186 grams. In terms of connectivity, it offers 5G, Dual-SIM, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, GPS, Glonass, Galileo, and Beidou.
