Realme recently introduced its 240W fast charging solution and announced that an upcoming Realme flagship will feature the latest fast charging solution. The company is expected to introduce the 240W fast charging with the upcoming Realme GT Neo 5. To those unaware, Realme is expected to launch the Realme GT Neo 5 series in the coming weeks. Ahead of the launch, we have spotted the Realme GT Neo 5 smartphones on TENAA and 3C certification websites.
The Realme GT Neo 5 series smartphones made appearances on these certification websites with the model numbers RMX3706 and RMX3708. The 3C certification listing Realme RMX3708 reveals that it will support 240W fast charging, so this could be the Realme GT Neo 5 240W, or the company might call it Realme GT Neo 5 Pro as some rumours suggest. The TENAA listing for these smartphones reveals the overall design, let us take a closer look at the details.
The Realme GT Neo 5 series smartphones will offer a flat display panel with a centered punch-hole notch. The upcoming GT series smartphones will offer curved back panels and will accommodate the rear camera module in the top left corner. A triple-rear camera setup can be seen in the images that we obtained through the TENAA listing.
The upcoming Realme GT series smartphones have also acquired 3C certification. The listing suggests that Realme RMX3706 (vanilla GT Neo 5) will support 160W fast charging. The charging adapter of the RMX3706 has model number VCK8HACH and supports outputs at 15W (5V/3A), 80W (11V/7.3A), 125W (20V/6.25A), and 160W (20V/8A). It will support USB PD output at 15W (5V/3A), 27W (9V/3A), 36W (12V/3A), and 45W (15V/3A).
The 3C listing for the Realme RMX3708 reveals support for up to 240W fast charging. The device will use the charging adapter with model number VCB7CACH which supports power outputs at 15W (5V/3A), 100W (11V/9/1A), 160W (20V/8A), 240W (20V/12A).
