Apple Powerbeats Pro 2 Clear SIRlM Certification, Launch Expected Soon

The same day when Apple dropped the iPhone SE 2020, a new pair of truly wireless earphones from the Cupertino-based tech giant, bearing the model number A2453 (For the left earbud) and A2454 (For the right earbud), were certified through FCC. The schematics of these earphones revealed through the certification suggested that these could be the next-generation Powerbeats Pro.

Today, we have spotted the listing of the same, Apple A2453 and A2454 truly wireless earphones on Malaysia’s SIRIM (Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia) as they have been certified through the agency. As you can see in the screenshot above, the listing of these earphones, unfortunately, doesn’t reveal any other information apart from their model numbers.

Considering that the next-generation Powerbeats Pro has started bagging certifications, it looks like its development is complete and it could launch anytime soon. And it makes much more sense that Apple could launch the next-generation Powerbeats Pro soon when you consider the fact that the first-generation Powerbeats Pro will be one-year-old next month as they were launched in May.

The upcoming Powerbeats Pro could simply be called the second-generation Powerbeats Pro. If not, they could debut as Powerbeats Pro 2 or Powerbeats Pro 2020. Hopefully, we will come to know about the retail name of these earphones as their launch nears. Expect the upcoming Powerbeats Pro to pack the Apple H1 chip, and better battery life and sound quality than its predecessor.
