Huawei has finally announced its latest Huawei Nova 7 series of smartphones in China. The Huawei Nova 7 comprises of three smartphones – Huawei Nova 7Huawei Nova 7 SE, and Huawei Nova 7 Pro. All three smartphones are 5G mobile handsets and are placed in the mid-range territory of Android. While the Huawei Nova 7 SE features an LCD panel, the Huawei Nova 7 and the Huawei Nova 7 Pro come with an OLED screen. Huawei Nova 7 SE, Huawei Nova 7, and Huawei Nova 7: Price and Availability

Starting with the Huawei Nova 7 SE, the device is priced at CNY 2,399 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant and CNY 2,799 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version. The device is available in Midnight Black, Silver, Forest Green, and Midsummer Purple color options.

The Huawei Nova 7, on the other hand, is priced at CNY 2,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant and CNY 3,399 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant. The device is available in Midnight Black, Silver, Forest Green, Honey Red, and Midsummer Purple color schemes.

Lastly, the Huawei Nova 7 Pro is priced at CNY 3,699 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant and CNY 4,099 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The device comes in Midnight Black, Forest Green, Honey Red, Silver, and Midsummer Purple color variants.

Huawei Nova 7 SE: Specifications and Features

Starting with the display of the device, the Huawei Nova 7 SE sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. The device features a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, which is located in the top left corner of the device’s display. The Huawei Nova 7 SE comes with a 96 percent NTSC color gamut. Since the display is IPS LCD, the Huawei Nova 7 SE sports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device measures 162.31 x 75.0 x 8.5mm and weighs in at 189 grams.

Under the hood, the Huawei Nova 7 SE is powered by an octa-core Kirin 820 5G mobile platform, which is paired with an ARM Mali-G57MP6 GPU, up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage. In terms of software, the Huawei Nova 7 SE ships with the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s in-house EMUI 10.1 skin baked on top of it.

Coming to the Huawei Nova 7, the device flaunts a 6.53-inch Full HD+ OLED panel with DCI-P3 wide color gamut and a 2,340 x 1,080 pixel resolution. Just like the Huawei Nova 7 SE, the Huawei Nova 7 also features a single punch-hole selfie camera setup, but the sensor is two times the one found on the Huawei Nova 7 SE. The Huawei Nova 7 sports a 32MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The device comes with an under-display fingerprint scanner. The Huawei Nova 7 measures 160.64 x 74.33 × 7.96 mm and weighs in at 180 grams.

Moving around on the rear of the device, the Huawei Nova 7 sports a quadruple rear camera setup, which includes a 64MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.4 aperture, an 8MP periscopic lens with f/2.4 aperture, OIS, 3x optical zoom, 5x digital zoom, and 20x digital zoom, and 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

Powering the Huawei Nova 7 is a Kirin 985 processor, which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. On the software side of things, the Huawei Nova 7 runs the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with EMUI 10.1 baked atop.

The Huawei Nova 7 Pro flaunts a large 6.57-inch Full HD+ OLED panel with 2,340 x 1,080 pixel resolution. Unlike the other two devices in the Huawei Nova 7 series, the Huawei Nova 7 Pro comes with a dual punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, which makes room for a 32MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP secondary ultra-wide camera with 105 degrees field of view and f/2.2 aperture. At the back, the Huawei Nova 7 Pro comes with a quadruple rear camera setup, which consists of a 64MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.4 aperture, an 8MP periscopic lens with f/3.4 aperture, 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, 50x digital zoom, and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. The Huawei Nova 7 Pro measures 160.36 x 73.74 x 7.98 mm and weighs in at 176 grams and it comes with an under-display fingerprint scanner.

As of now, the company has not officially declared as to when the Huawei Nova 7 series will be available globally, so we cannot really say for sure as to when that would happen (or whether it would happen at all).
