Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 with 5G Connectivity and S-Pen Stylus Support to Launch Soon in Europe

Korean smartphone manufacturer Samsung has launched several tablets in the market lately, but its Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 has been in the news for quite a while now. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 is still under development and the rumors surrounding its potential existence popped up on the internet only a little while ago. Now, a new report has come up, which suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 will be a 5G-enabled tablet and will come with support for an S-Pen. Furthermore, the source has said that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 is soon going to launch in Europe. Take a look at what we know about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 tablet so far and find out what it has in store for us.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7: What We Know So Far

The report came up courtesy of Galaxy Club. As per the report, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 will be released in two display sizes – 11-inch and 12.4-inch. Plus, both display variants of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 will feature S-Pen support. The report also claims that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 will be launched in a 5G variant as well. Plus, the tablet won’t just remain exclusive to South Korea this time, as it is expected to launch in Europe and the US as well. The theory behind this is the fact that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 has a model number SM-T976B, which is intended for the European markets.

Over a month ago, we discovered that Samsung is working on a new top tablet, with model numbers SM-T970 (Wi-Fi) and SM-T975 (4G). Since then it has also become clear that the tablet is being developed in two different sizes. The SM-T97x is said to have a 12.4-inch screen, while model numbers SM-T870 and SM-T875 belong to an 11-inch version of the device. – Galaxy Club

Interestingly enough, earlier rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 suggested that it would, well, not be called the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and the company could possibly launch it as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S20 to align with the current generation of its flagship series – the already launched Samsung Galaxy S20 series and the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series. This, however, could still turn out to be the case, as the source still expects the tablet to be internally referred to as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7.

Thought the rest of the specifications of the tablet are relatively unknown as of now, we can expect it to ship with the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s in-house One UI 2.0 skin baked on top of it.

While we are not entirely sure as to what the commercial name for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 would be, we can expect it to launch alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series later this year. Samsung is also believed to launch its Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 foldable smartphone during the same event, which will likely take place on August 2020. Things, however, might be delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
