The Apple iPhone 9 was supposed to launch in March 2020. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the launch of the smartphone was reportedly postponed indefinitely, leaving Apple fanboys clueless regarding the launch date of the smartphone. Well, today seems to be a good day for Apple fanboys, as Jon Prosser, a popular YouTuber, has put out a tweet claiming that the iPhone 9 will launch on 15th April and that the device will start shipping from 22nd April.
Apart from the launch date of the iPhone 9, Jon also reveals that Apple will be launching a new MacBook Pro (Most probably a new version of 13-inch laptop), over-ear headphones, and AirTags at the WWDC event, which is set to take place in June (Exact date hasn’t been announced yet). Although, Jon also reminds us in his tweets that we are going through a pandemic situation and therefore the launch dates could change anytime.

The iPhone 9 is expected to be an affordable, compact smartphone from Apple. The word on the street is that it will come as a successor to the iPhone SE. Rumour also has it that apart from the iPhone 9, the brand will also be launch the iPhone 9 Plus, a larger and a slightly costlier variant of the iPhone 9. The leaks and rumors that we have so far suggest that the Apple iPhone 9 and iPhone 9 Plus will have Apple A13 chipset. Touch ID, and an old-school design with thick bezels around the screen.

In November 2018, Apple revealed the MacBook Pro 16-inch, a replacement for the 15-inch MacBook Pro that we knew for so long. And last month, the brand launched a refreshed version of the MacBook Air. So, the only laptop that needs to get a refresh is the MacBook Pro 13-inch. And it looks like the MacBook Pro that Jon Prosser is claiming to launch during the WWDC 2020 event, is a refreshed version of the 13-inch MacBook Pro. It is expected to come with 10th generation, 10nm-based Intel chipsets, and Scissor keys.
