The updates are primarily targeted for people who have channels with large numbers of users or people who make heavy use of the messaging app. Channel stats and chat directories are among the latest apps.
For channel users with over 1000 subscribers, channel performance monitoring works fine. They can now calculate stats with regard to the developments in their channel using the new app. This will help a user track the growth and success of a platform based on multiple criteria such as language, new followers, post views, new interactions, alerts, etc.
For a desired time, Channel Experiece or channel admin may access graphical representation of the results. This function is suitable for closely analyzing channel efficiency. This feature would help to expand the channels in a more defined and targeted manner according to Telegram.
Telegram has introduced a new feature in the Chat interface update that enables users to now organize chats into Chat Folders. The folders on Chat will also allow users to pin unlimited chats.
Users can build multiple chat folders which are accessible by swiping the app’s home screen. Telegram added that this would allow users to “segregate personal and work-based chats”
Users will need to have long-pressed Chats option present at the bottom of the screen to create a Chat File. Choose Edit Tab, and press Build New Tab. There’s also Unread and Personal options that automatically segregates personal unread chats and personal chats.
Telegram always had the option to Archive chats, similar to the feature present in WhatsApp. They have finally added the shortcut option to swipe left of a chat to archive it quickly. Archived chats will stay hidden until a notification pops up from it.
New wavy animations are available to record while capturing a voice or video message. Other updates include new animated emoji for the outbreak of COVID-19 and a die emoji that rolls to pick a random number from 1 to 6.
