The latest development reveals the wireless charging capabilities of the standard V40. The Honor V40 has visited the TUV Rheinland certification website. The listing has revealed the wireless fast charging capabilities of the device. The Honor V40 will come with 50W wireless fast charging, according to the TUV Rheinland Certification website. Honor is expected to debut the V40 series soon. Three smartphones are expected to launch under the V40 series in China. These include the standard V40, V40 Pro, and V40 Pro+. Ahead of the launch confirmation, the V40 has visited the TUV Rheinland Certification website.

The listing reveals that the V40 will come with 50W wireless fast charging support. Other details such as battery capacity have not been mentioned on the TUV Rheinland website.

Recently, the device was spotted on the Chinese 3C certification website. As per the listing, the V40 will come with 66W fast charging support.

The device is expected to launch on January 12. A screenshot of the beta test revealed that the V40 will come with a 120Hz refresh rate display. Another leaked render showed the smartphone sporting a dual hole-punch cutout display with curved edges. The smartphone also sports a quad-camera setup inside a circular module. The LED flash is placed between the four sensors inside the module.

Honor is also expected to launch the V40 Pro and V40 Pro+ alongside the standard V40. Specifications of the other two smartphones under the series, namely the V40 Pro, and V40 Pro+ were recently tipped. 

Recently, tipster Rodent950 claimed that the V40 series will feature a 6.72-inch Full HD+ curved display. The screen will have a pill-shaped camera cutout for dual front cameras. 

The V40 Pro might come with the latest Kirin 9000 chipset. The V40 Pro+ could get powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset. At the back, the V40 Pro might feature a triple-camera setup, while the V40 Pro+ could come with a quad-camera array. The V40 series is tipped to feature a 50MP primary camera sensor.
