Samsung Galaxy F62 aka Galaxy M62 launch should be around the corner, going by the magnitude of leaks in the recent past. We only know them by their model numbers, but that changes today as the Bluetooth SIG certification finally confirms the marketing names of both phones. The Samsung Galaxy M62 and F62 are technically the same phone but with different model numbers and marketing names. The South Korean giant might introduce them either as Galaxy M62 or F62 based on region. The listing also reveals the Galaxy F62 and M62 will only have Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity standard but not the latest V5.1 or V5.2.
Unfortunately, that’s pretty much everything that is revealed from the Bluetooth SIG certification at the moment but courtesy of various leaks and reports, we know quite a good deal about the Galaxy M62 aka Galaxy F62 already.
Samsung Galaxy F62 and M62 specifications
The Samsung Galaxy F62/Galaxy M62 support page has recently gone live on the Samsung India website, suggesting the India launch could be around the corner. The Samsung Galaxy F62 specifications, as spotted on Geekbench, could include Exynos 9825 SoC paired with 6GB RAM, at least 64GB storage option that should be further expandable. It is likely to boot Android 11 OS, with OneUI 3.0 custom skin on top. The Samsung Galaxy M62/F62 may pack a massive 7,000mAh battery with 25W fast-charging support. This will be the second Samsung phone after the Galaxy M51 to pack a 7,000mAh unit.
The phone’s production has reportedly begun at the company’s Greater Noida facility. The recently leaked panel images suggest the Galaxy F62/M62 may arrive with quad-cameras at the back arranged in a rectangular module. The USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack are present at the bottom. The fingerprint sensor could either be embedded in the power button or placed under the display. That’s pretty much everything we so far know about Galaxy F62/M62 at the moment but we may come across more information leading up to the launch.
