Amid numerous launches Xiaomi also seems to be popping up on the internet with the intention of launching a new smart band and expanding its Mi Band series. Yes! You read it correctly, it has been reported that the company is planning to launch the Mi Band 6 sometime this year. Here’s a closer look at the latest leaks of the upcoming Mi Band 6.

Mi Band 6 Leak

According to a Geekdoing forum, a user named MagicalUnicorn has shared some details on the Zepp app which is said to be developed for the Mi Band 6. Just in case you don’t know Zepp app is for Amazfit and Zepp smartwatch and fitness trackers and Mi band lineup is also manufactured by Huami so it also supports the same app.

As per the report, the Mi band 6 is said to be listed with a codename “Pangu” and the smart band will arrive with useful features like its predecessor along with all new features and design upgrades. Further, the report also suggests that the fitness tracker comes with model number XMSH16HM and tipped to arrive with NFC and a non-NFC version for the global and Chinese market. Zepp app source codes data disclosed that the Mi Band 6 will arrive with Alexa and SpO2 sensor support.

Meanwhile, the fitness tracker is also tipped to pack a built-in GPS. The renders shared by the Geekdoing user show a higher resolution watch faces on Mi Band 6 which means that the fitness tracker might launch with a bigger display than the Mi Band 5. To recall, the last year’s Mi Band 5 offers a 1.1-inch display.

The tipster also claims that the smart band will spot 30 activity modes and some of the new models include dance, Zumba, cricket, basketball, and kickboxing. Do note that the company is yet to reveal anything officially and we recommend you to take this with a pinch of salt and wait for the official launch.
