HMD Global has finally announced that it has started rolling out the latest Android 10 update for its Nokia 7.2 smartphone. The Nokia 7.2, which was released back in September 2019, has so far run on the now-dated Android 9 Pie OS and finally, the users of the device will get to enjoy all the latest Android 10 goodness. Though the Nokia 7.2 is part of Google’s Android One program, which is basically intended to ensure quick Android updates, the Nokia 7.2 has certainly not had its share of luck, as Android 10 has been around for more than six months now. As per the company, the latest update rollouts have been delayed primarily because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, it is finally here on the device, so we should not keep complaining.
As far as the latest update is concerned, the Android 10 update for the Nokia 7.2 brings about the March 2020 security patch with it. Below is what’s new:

The update is around 1.57GB in size and is currently being rolled out over the air to the Nokia 7.2 devices. You can still manually check it out by tapping the settings icon on your device and hitting the Check for Updates section from there. If the update has already arrived on your smartphone, you can just tap the update button in order to update your Nokia 7.2 to the latest Android 10 OS. For those unaware, the Nokia 7.2 features a 6.3-inch IPS LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution. A waterdrop notch at the top of the device’s display makes room for the 20MP selfie snapper. Moving around on the rear of the device, the Nokia 7.2 features a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. The device measures 159.9 x 75.2 x 8.3 mm and weighs in at 180 grams.
Under the hood, the Nokia 7.2 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, which is paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of onboard storage. The storage of the device has scope for further expansion with the help of an external SD card.
As far as the battery of the device is concerned, the Nokia 7.2 is fueled by a 3,500mAh battery, which comes with a standard 10W charging over a USB Type-C charging port.
