A tweet that OnePlus had put out a couple of days ago had suggested that the brand might soon be launching truly wireless earphones. While there hasn’t been any other information regarding the truly wireless earphones from OnePlus, a new report from 91Mobiles claims that OnePlus will soon launch the Bullet Wireless Z earphones. In addition, the tech publication also claims that OnePlus will launch a 30W wireless charger alongside the OnePlus 8 series smartphones.
OnePlus Bullet Wireless Z Earphones
According to the report from 91Mobiles, the OnePlus Bullet Wireless Z will not be truly wireless earphones. Instead, the two earbuds will have a wire connecting them. Wait! OnePlus already offers semi-wireless earphones, the Bullet Wireless 2. So, what is the point of launching the Bullet Wireless Z? Well, these allegedly upcoming earphones, 91Mobiles claims, are an affordable version of the Bullet Wireless 2, which means that the Bullet Wireless Z will be priced below INR 6,999.
Considering that the Bullet Wireless Z will be affordable than the Bullet Wireless 2, the former could lose out on aptX codec support and fast charging support. Hopefully, they’ll come with Bluetooth v5.0 and USB Type-C port.
OnePlus 30W Wireless Charger
From the last couple of years, we have been seeing the wireless charging feature in many smartphones. However, OnePlus hasn’t incorporated this feature in its smartphones up until now. That being said, the upcoming, OnePlus 8 series smartphones are expected to feature a wireless charging option. And it looks like the brand wants to seize the opportunity to launch a wireless charger as well to go with the OnePlus 8 series devices.
Now that 91Mobiles is claiming that the brand will launch a 30W charger, it looks like the OnePlus 8 series smartphones (At least the OnePlus 8 Pro) will have 30W wireless charging. If what we are speculating turns out to be true, the OnePlus 8 Pro will be among the smartphones with the fastest wireless charging.
